File Transfer Protocol - (FTP)
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is the simplest way to exchange files between computers on the internet. FTP is an application protocol that uses the internets TCP/IP protocol. It is commonly used to transfer web page files from their creator's PC to the server so they are 'live'. You can also bring pages down to your PC so you can update.
You will need a password to enable you FTP program to access the Hantsweb server. Contact the Hantsweb manager.

You will need a copy of FTP, for example WS-FTP Pro. Please contact the Hantsweb Manager if you are an IT2000 users.
