Lapthorne Hall. A three storey red brick villa with stone quoins. Slate roof with decorated ridge tiles. Three bays wide with gables to street, all with important bargeboarding, the right hand gable having wrought iron finial. Projecting central bay with steeply pitched gable, and later entrance porch built into high boundary wall. Main facade has two storey square bay one side and single storey castellated angular bay, on the other side. Later single storey extension to right, with castellated angular bay. Two storey separate lodge to rear, built in diamond pattern brickwork with slate roof with bargeboarded gable end. | CA |
