Eastney Fort East and Eastney Fort West. Earthwork forts circa 1870 facing the sea, flint faced escarpment, brick wall with rounded coping dividing a double ditch, the outer one largely filled in Eastney Fort West. Eastney House, and linking archway, to the Commanding Officer's residence and HQ Training Group, R.M. Eastney Barracks, Eastney House is a three storey block with basement and attic linked by a brick triumphal arch to the other building. Both blocks are built in red brick with yellow brick dressings. Gable end slate roofs. Eastney House has pedimented dormers to south front, and double projecting four storey entrance bays on north front. The CO's Residence and Training HQ have stone pediments to the gable ends. Recessed sash windows with segmental arches to upper floors and semi-circular to ground floor, two storey entrance porch to east front. | T&CP Act CA |

The Clock Tower, Eastney Barracks, also known as the Water Tower. Six storeys, square brick tower, in castle style. Steep hipped slate roof with flat top surrounded by iron balustrade. Corbelled turret at north-east corner. Narrow pedimented dormers to each roof face. Paired chimney stacks linked by arches across corners. Narrow, round-arched windows at third floor, surmounted by small circular windows. The top stage has blind roundels and clock centred to each face. | T&CP Act CA |

Eastney Barracks. Flint rubble wall with brick bands, horizontal gun apertures at about 4ft. spacings. Stepped rounded coping. Main gate has brick banded piers and pedimental caps over piers, surmounted by iron lamp standards. Mortars set on parapet over pedestrian archways. | T&CP Act CA |

Eastney Royal Marine Barracks. Main barrack block. Mid 1860s. Three storeys, red brick structure with slate roof. Stone string course. Recessed round headed ground floor windows.
