No. 2. Main section of three storeys with two windows on each floor, this is joined to a two storey section by a single storey portion containing a round headed door. The two storey section, with one window on each floor is completed by a curved, blind wall single storey section, this is completed by a sharp curve to the rear, where a staircase projection rises through three storeys. A feature of this house is the fine brickwork executed almost entirely of grey bricks with some red brick quoining. | T&CP Act CA |

Nos. 6, 8 and 10. Two storeys, grey headers with red brick dressings, and brick parapet. Six bays each flanked by brick pilaster strips. Round headed blind recesses on first floor. Nos. 1-3, former Guardian's and Registrar's Offices, by A.E. Cogswell. Nos. 1 & 2, two storeys and attic, red brick, gable end steep pitched slate roof, three storey tower at south end with bracketed cornice and piered parapet. Pointed capped corner piers and steep slate spire surmounted by ornamental iron balustrade. Two storeys and attic gabled bay to north end. Nine windows, paired sashes. Entrances in tower and gabled bay, four-centred moulded arches, carved pediments, panelled doors. No. 3 is an adjoining two-storey symmetrical block, red brick with stone dressings. Steep hipped slate roof, first floor flanked by oriel turrets with conical slate roofs. Ground floor has two windows and central arched stone doorway. | SU 638 999 2701 120 |

Connaught Drill Hall. Very wide gabled roof. Brick battemented facade with two rows of windows with glazing bars. Wide doorway with imitation stone lintel. To the south two battlemented chimneys.
