Nos. 1, 3 and 5. One building divided into three cottages. Two storeys, timber-framed with square panels infilled with red brick. Centre ground floor is rendered and the ends of the house rebuilt with red brick. Half-hipped tiled roof (originally thatched) with central chimney. Meoncross Girls School. Two and a half- storey double pile house with coped gable ends and old tile roof, end chimneys. Rear cross wing with weathervane where front section joins. House may have earlier core, refronted in C.19 with mock timber framing. Cast iron trellised verandah, across ground floor, the roof missing. Crabthorn Farm Cottage and Crabthorn Farmhouse. T-shaped timber-framed building possibly originally a hall (farmhouse) and crosswing (cottage). The cottage is timber-framed with red brick herringbone infill, the main fa‡ade faces north. Two storeys with half-hipped tiled roof and casement windows with some C.17/18 glazing. Interior has exposed C.17 timber framing. The farmhouse is built of stone rubble and red brick, with half-hipped tiled roof, also two storeys with casement windows. Central door in timber-framed porch. C.17 chimney stack on south wall. The roof down to single storey height at rear. C.17 beams and panelling to interior. | T&CP Act |
