Nos. 8 and 10. Former School and Master's House. Symmetrical facade of 2 storeys. Tile roof, eaves broken by the heads of upper windows, which are surmounted by a brick faced gable. Central chimney stack. Flint walls with red brick dressings. Casement windows. Plain coupled doorways. Stone panel above central entrances is inscribed, 'School Restored by Charlotte Elisabeth Pollen, Widow of Sir John Walter Pollen, Bart. 1872'. | SU 364 458 0303 111 |

Nos. 12-22, Pollen's Almshouses. Regular row of single storey and attic cottages. Tile root, catslide at rear. Three massive old chimney stacks. Six dormers with sills at eaves level with brick faced gables. Coursed flint walls in panels, red brick dressings. Cambered arches, high brick plinth. Plain boarded doors within coupled doorways. No. 6, (Priory Lodge) and 6A. Villa of 2 storeys and basement in severe classical style. Low pitched hipped slate roof. Stucco walls. The east wing has slightly projecting centrepiece. The main block projects slightly at the west side, with two windows in plain recessed architraves to first floor, and cornices on brackets to tall ground floor windows. Plinth with cambered arches above basement windows, which have cast iron rails. Ionic porch with two columns and pilasters, and wide doorway. | T. & C.P. Act C.A. |
