The White Hart, at the corner of East Street and North Street. Particularly important as an example of Victorian corner building. 2 storeys with attics. Red tiled roof, gabled with barge boards. Brick walls with decorated panels, which were probably made at the Rowland's Castle Brickworks. Ground floor windows have brick arches with casement windows, the first floor has bay and sash windows, the attic windows are in-roof dormer with peaked tops. The doorways are arched. | C.A. |
