Fountain and circular garden. Built to commemorate the original Royal Engineer's Yard site of 1854. Now part of Princes Gardens. Three plaques adorn fountain, Aldershot Coat of Arms, Royal Military Arms and one describing presentation on 5th June 1955. Marks centenary of camp and town 1854.     SU 861 508

Heroes' Shrine War Memorial 1939-45, Aldershot Manor Park, off Church Hill. Sunken garden containing rock garden constructed of fragments of bombed buildings from fifty cities and boroughs in England. An illuminated record of the places of origin and the circumstances, is preserved in a glass case in the old parish church nearby. Stone figure of Christ unveiled May 1950.
