Farnborough/Farnham Road, facing the grounds of the Royal Garrison Church. Yellow brick gateway to former West Cavalry Barracks built 1856-9, renamed Willems Cavalry Barracks 1909. Brick piers support carved masonry tablets of laurel wreaths and oak sprays enclosing royal cypher V.R. and damaged description West Cavalry Barracks. Erected 1856. Gateway protected by iron railings.     SU 852 507

No. 23, High Street. Established 1880 by J. Salter who supplied sports goods to the army throughout the world. Fascia board with brass letters, moulded bats, polo sticks and balls. Premises of firm which gained considerable fame in manufacture of polo sticks. Large brass-framed windows.     SU 862 508

St. Augustine's, North Lane. Red brick structure with timber-framed porch and dormers. Built 1907 by Sir T. G. Jackson. No spire or tower.
