Remarks: The Angel Inn. 2 storeys. The early C.19 facades to Nos. 89 and 91 continue across this building. The slightly projecting south side contains an oval carriage arch with pediment above. Tile roof, moulded eaves with cone-shaped brackets. Red brick structures with both rubbed flat and curved arches. Sashes in exposed frames. Venetian windows above the arch and on north side ground floor. Archway into the yard exposes south facing rear premises which are mediaeval. 2 storeys, irregular fenestration, tiled roof, exposed timber frame with printed brick infill to first floor. Ground floor painted brick. Long tiled hood covers bay windows and entrances. Interior face above the archway is tile-hung, and has triple Gothic lights. Ref: 1. Inns of Andover, (Earney). Ref: 2.
