Service Charges

County Supplies is a self-funding unit of Hampshire County Council. It does not operate for profit, but must recover the costs of its operations. By using the direct delivery/call-off arrangements the customer agrees to the County Council arranging framework contracts on its behalf and receiving an arrangement fee from the supplier of the goods, services and/or works as consideration. Eligibility to Open an Account

Under the terms of the Local Government (Goods and Services) Act 1970 we can only supply customers operating other than for profit.


Churches: unfortunately, the terms of the Local Government (Goods and Services) Act 1970 do not permit us to supply to you.

You are eligible to apply to become a registered customer if you are applying on behalf of a non-profit making organisation, or your organisation meets one of the following conditions:


Playgroup:

A member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (formerly PPA).


Independent School:

An independent school which operates on a non-profit making basis.


Nursing and Retirement Home:

A private retirement, care, or nursing home which operates on a non-profit making basis.


Youth Organisation:

Affiliated to the National Council of Voluntary Youth Organisations.

If your application for a registered account with County Supplies is successful the information that you provide, either through the online or the printed application form will be stored by County Supplies for the sole purpose of providing your supply and procurement service. This service:

1. uses the information for deliveries of goods, invoicing, product or service information and for correspondence by County Supplies or its officially appointed suppliers.

2.ensures that your name will remain confidential and will not be passed to any third party without your permission.

3. maintains the information throughout the currency of your registered account with County Supplies and will amend it subject to subsequent information you provide to County Supplies.

If your application for a registered account with County Supplies is unsuccessful the information will be deleted by County Supplies and will not be passed to any third party organisation.
